Hilo Bay Pottery is a community ceramics studio located in downtown Hilo, Hawaiʻi, just steps away from the stunning Hilo Bay. We offer memberships, classes, workshops, and firing services to foster creativity and connection. Inspired by the ocean and the vibrant landscapes of Hawaiʻi Island, we aim to be a hub where people can explore their artistic potential in a friendly and welcoming environment.

About the Founder
Leanne A. Flowers is a ceramic artist and founder of Hilo Bay Pottery in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Her artistic journey began on Alabama’s Gulf Coast, where she discovered her love for art through Interior Design studies. This foundation led her to ceramics, where she refined her skills at Haywood Community College's Professional Crafts program. Leanne's work is inspired by Hawaiʻi’s landscapes, blending form and function with vibrant colors and organic shapes creating functional art.
At Hilo Bay Pottery, she continues to explore her craft and invites others to connect with pottery.
